They can access the problematic shares, even open existing files, but suddenly it has been working for over 2 years they can not open any new files that they create on the problem shares. Other shares on the same server work fine. Error is "Access Denied.

Contact your Administrator. I have checked all of the share and file permissions, even resetting them on some. The permissions are exactly the same as they were before this problem started today, and the same as the shares that are working properly.

I will post what I find I moved it from the restricted policies OU earlier, so I knew that wasn't the issue. It was related. The computer was still a member of a restricted desktop group.

A former employee created that and I wasn't immediately aware. The User has Modify Access, also i have tried to give him full rights.
